Extreme flexibility: perfect matching with rotator operated antennas, obtained by means of a sophisticated full copper stranded inner conductor (19 wires instead of 7).

New improved dielectric: amazing attenuations up to 10 Ghz. Notwithstanding its size is only 12,7 mm (effective 0,50”), this prestigious cable rivals larger models size 14,6 mm or stiff 15 mm corrugated copper cables, reducing the number of connectors needed from 4 to 2, because no further flexible cable is needed for the final connection to the antenna.

Sturdiness and screening efficiency at its top:  >105 dB (SA),                                    and improved sturdiness reached by adding 24 more wires to the braid, for a total of 168 wires (70% coverage + 100% foil). This leads to a dramatic reduction of the background noise. Moreover, the braiders used are 24 spools, instead of 16 spools.

12.7 mm (0.5″) LowLoss Cable, 50 Ohm, double shielded, braided conductor
An excellent cable with very low attenuation and useable for really high power – up to 18kW peak! This cable can be used on VHF, UHF and SHF equally well. Applications: ambitious radio amateurs on VHF/UHF, Contest operators, EME fans and also Wifi and LTE at 2.4 GHz or Wifi on 5 GHz. The Ultraflex-13 cable has an improved design with a center conductor with 19 individual wires (instead of 7 with comparable cables). This makes the cable highly flexible and suitable for rotating antenna system where the cable must be guided arund the rotor. The cable has a double shield with a tear-resistant PE foil with copper sheathing (100% coverage) plus a dense mesh of 168 wires in 24 strands (70% coverage). The result is an excellent 105 dB screen attenuation. An excellent mechanical and electrical stability is achieved by a three layer dielectric and a flexible, UV resistant PVC coating.
Currently we offer the usual “N” type and PL (UHF) connectors for this cable.
