Description
PLCM2M-EU is a wideband low gain direct connect device designed for use with machine to machine devices such as modems, security alarms, cameras etc. It is capable of amplifying all signals in it’s operating bands but the direct connection design limits its capability to amplifying the signal being transmitted by the user device which is connected to it directly through the M2M device antenna port. Operationally it is a single-user narrow-band device that only amplifies the channel being used by the M2M device.
The purpose of this device is to extend signal range due to path loss from the tower, geographical features that reduce signal and compensate for signal loss/attenuation caused by losses in long runs of coax cables, shielding from building construction, metalized weather proof enclosures etc.
