The OD5-5900MOD2 Series Omni-directional Antenna is popular because of its high-performance and rugged construction. These antennas can be used as a site antenna for the infrastructure side of a DSRC network.
The antennas can also be installed on large vehicles such as large construction equipment. The antennas are constructed with conformal foam which dampens the effect of these high vibration settings.
The base is irridited for weather protection and the antenna elements are enclosed in a durable fiberglass radome.
The OD antennas normally terminate with a female N connector.
